About

  • I am a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the NHS for 6 years, across child, adolescent and adult mental health services.

My clinical experience has taught me that healing, growth, and wellbeing are deeply intertwined with the systems, relationships, and environments that shape us.

My practice is grounded in the understanding that individuals are not isolated; we are always influenced by the people and contexts around us; our families, communities, and the broader world. I also believe that every person has the potential to grow, thrive, and find their own path forward, even in the face of adversity.

My approach to therapy combines evidence-based approaches like Compassion Focused Therapy, as well as Systemic models such as Narrative Therapy to create a safe, compassionate, and empowering space for children, young people, and families. I believe that no single model of therapy will work for everyone, and seek to work collaboratively with individuals and families to determine the best ways of working together.

By understanding how an individual’s system is impacting their wellbeing, I endeavour to help people to make sense of their challenges and find new ways of moving forward, empowering them to create meaningful change within their lives. This also means focusing on strengths and resiliences that individuals and families hold and building on enriching these.

Whether you're navigating a family transition, supporting a child or young person’s emotional wellbeing, or seeking help with trauma and difficult life experiences, I will endeavour to create a safe space for working through these challenges with grace, patience and understanding.
